VS scales Berlin Wall of the Party (Kerala)

V.S. Achuthanandan the Opposition leader of Kerala (INDIA) Assembly called on his ailing veteran comrade defying the party (Marxist Party) diktat. Forewarned of the visit by VS to Mr. Berlin Kunjanandan’s house the party issued a directive to VS not to take lunch with him.  

VS called on his long time comrade scaling the virtual Berlin wall created by the party.Obeying the party directive he refused to lunch with Mr. Berlin referring the party directive but accepted tender coconut water offered to him, saying there’s no ban on drinking water from Berlin’s house.  

VS said he will come later to share food with him. Mr. Achthanandan was a regular visitor to the house of Berlin till the latter's expulsion from the CPM last year as punishment for his forthright views violating party discipline. This was the first visit after the expulsion. 

It is sad that people who are supposed to follow progressive thinking behave like fundamentalist  organizations. Let us hope that wisdom prevail upon them.
